Cynthia and I were on the back porch and our discussion of current affairs, politics and human nature had us pretty bummed out. We decided that what we needed to do was to make a list of positive things that were just as certain as death and taxes but were positive. What we came up with included my Grandpa Snyders old gold pocket watch. Like the one the railroad men used. Then we added single malt scotch but the best of the list was when I pictured our grandson Greyson and his 1000 watt smile. And at that the muse smiled and in an hour we had a song.
