This was the project that was our first digital and included songs from the original cassette. That project was a collection of songs from my graduate training to be a family therapist as I transitioned out of broadcasting. The original songs were part of my graduate project. I then added others from my early practice and they became this 1st CD for Gypsyfire

Voices of the Veil is a collection of songs that touch on the mystical and mysterious stories Charlie had turned into songs. Joining Charlie and Cynthia was long time collaborator Ted Miller and David Thorp.
The Irish Songbook was conceived for Cynthia’s graduate school mentors in the medieval studies program at the University of Houston. John McNamara was doing a video series on Irish History and this disc was recorded for the sound track of that class.

Brothers of the Dark Earth was recorded in Carl Freuden’s living room. Gypsyfire had relocated from Houston Texas to Farmington NM and Charlie and Cynthia were joined by Carl and his wife Kathy. The picture is actually from Cynthia’s family album and includes one of her great uncles and his mining crew
